This health food take away cafe was designed using raw natural materials to reflect the ethos of the company. The Seating area and fitted furniture is con structured from 6 mm hot rolled mild steel with laminated birch plywood inserts for the more tactile surfaces within. A birch plywood coffer floats above. This serves two purposes. It delineates the different zones within the cafe and whilst at the same time takes advantage of the height within and hides all the services above. The walls are experimentally rendered in a playful pattern to tie in within the playfulness of the branding and also to create a textured surface which ties in with the other materials in the cafe.
